Yes. Your initial neuropathy consultation and focused exam are completely free. If additional diagnostic tests or treatment options are recommended, we will explain insurance coverage and potential costs if any, in advance and you can decide if you want to proceed.
No referral is required for the free neuropathy exam. Many patients are referred by their primary care doctor or specialist, but you can also schedule directly as a new patient.
No. We work alongside your existing care team and encourage you to continue regular visits with your primary care physician and any specialists you currently see. We focus on assessing your neuropathy and when appropriate, providing supportive, non-surgical, drug-free care options.
Please bring your ID, a list of your medications, any recent lab work or nerve studies (if you have them), comfortable clothing that allows us to examine your legs and feet and your insurance card if applicable.
Many of our patients have struggled with neuropathy for years. While some cases are very severe, there are often ways to improve comfort, function and quality of life. The goal of the exam is to understand what is possible in your specific situation.
